This modification contains a corrected and amended translation of the Russian localization.
Compatible with version 1.0.15+
I. Due to the peculiarity of the engine, to apply localization changes that affect the names of manually placed objects in the game world (houses, mannequins, chests, etc.), you will need to transfer / start a new game.
II. Some interface elements currently cannot be translated without gaining access to the resources of the decompiled executable file, since not all variables have been moved into the template for localization by the developer himself. Most of the untranslated UI elements have already been fixed and are available with the current version of the translation mod on an experimental build (switching through the game properties in the Steam library).
III. To translate individual items and objects that are not included in the localization template, there is no need to access the sources, but it takes time to catch and transfer them to the required recording format. For the purpose of collecting untranslated items, a separate topic has been created.
A set of compressed textures - It's no secret that the game uses over 10GB of textures, mostly 4096x4096px in size. Regular streaming of resources of this size greatly slows down the overall operation of the application, especially when loading game regions on systems without SSD, with video cards with no more than 4GB of video memory. In this mod, the textures of the landscape and objects are selectively compressed in order to maintain a compromise between image quality and performance impact. Compressed textures will give a small increase in the frame rate and will significantly reduce the time it takes to load textures from disk to memory. The basic rules for compressing textures were as follows: 2048> 1024, 4096> 2048. Selective 2k and 4k textures were not affected. clamping them significantly reduced the quality of textures in the game itself. To install, it is enough to transfer the "data" folder from the archive to the root of the game with the replacement. The texture mod will be updated as testing progresses.
