This mod will show you players on the map.

I'm not very good at explaining but here i go:

To change server specific options, navigate to:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content"

If it's a dedicated server, navigate to:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Project Zomboid Dedicated Server\steamapps\workshop\content"

search for "PlayersOnMapOptions.lua"
search example[i.imgur.com]
inside the file example[i.imgur.com]

If you have the mod "ModOptions" you will see client sided options available in the "Mods" tab in settings

These options only change things if the server allows for it.
For instance if the server config does not allow names then the "Show Player Names" option won't do anything.
