This mod adds a buff plus ten new interactions to the game, all in the new "Ask For Money" pie category. There are five different values for "Ask For Money" interactions and "Beg for Money" interactions. The begging interactions were designed in case your sim needs money desperately and have their own requirements. Any successful use of the interactions adds a happy buff to the active sim and a notification appears.

How does it work?

When available, if the selected sim clicks on another sim, the pie menu appears along with the interactions kept inside. The options grant simoleons of the value they display. For example, the interaction "Ask For $2,000" will add $2,000 to the active sim's household. 

Restrictions

For realism, each interaction has conditions to determine whether it succeeds or sometimes even appear.

  • Household Limitation: For a sim to receive money from another, they cannot be in the same household, since they all share the same pool of money. The pie menu and options will not show on household members.
  • Relationship: Sims need a certain relation with the sim they've selected which varies depending on how much money the interaction gives. The restrictions get more limiting as you approach the higher amounts. Interactions will not appear if the relationship requirements aren't met. "Beg For Money" interactions require a higher relationship status on average since you can use it indefinitely.
  • Cooldowns: The five "Ask For Money.." interactions come with a unique cooldown depending on their value. "Beg For Money" interactions have no cooldown.
  • Sim Value: To be able to give money, the sim you ask has to have the amount to do so. For "Ask For Money" interactions, the sim you are asking has to have 10x the amount in simoleons. (Realistically, who would give away all the money they have? So it'll be a tenth.) For "Beg For Money" interactions, the sim only needs 5x the amount. Attempting to ask for $5,000 would require the other sim to have $50,000 ready, or $25,000 if you choose to beg. A notification appears if the picked sim doesn't have the funds and no money will be given to your household.
  • Ages: Only teens, young adults, adults, and elders can use this exchange.

  • Cooldown: No Cooldown
  • Sim Value: $5,000 in Household Value
  • Ages: Teen, Young Adult, Adult, Elder

Ask For $2,000

  • Relationships: Family, friend and higher, any positive romance status
  • Cooldown: 8 Sim Hours
  • Sim Value: $20,000
  • Ages: Teen, Young Adult, Adult, Elder

Beg For $2,000

  • Relationships: Family, Good friend and higher friendships, Any positive romantic relationship excluding romantic interest
  • Cooldown: No Cooldown
  • Sim Value: $10,000
  • Ages: Young Adult, Adult, Elder

Ask For $5,000

  •  Relationships: Family, Good friends, Sweethearts/Lovebirds and higher romances
  • Cooldown: 12 sim hours
